Our story starts at the end of June. We had a list of agents who we reached out to and at the last minute lucked out and was introduced to Omar by a friend. I appreciated how he answered our questions with a casual candor yet still professional in emails as well as subsequent texts and phone/zoom conversations. We met virtually initially to talk through what our timeline would look like and just what to expect when selling a home. He answered all our questions (which we had very many) and he was very up front with what could happen. He was quite charming, positive, and after even our first email exchange, we knew we had found “our person” to sell our home. Go with your gut folks, you know that feeling when you meet a person for the first time that you know you’ll get along with them….yeah that. Go with that feeling.
He initially came to visit our place to provide his initial impressions and insight on what we needed to do to prep our place for the best return on investment and sell it at top dollar. He did let us know with our specific layout, it might be challenging (which it was). He never pressured us to do anything we were uncomfortable with but always gave us his professional opinion and experience, the pros and cons and in the end we would provide the final say. He has a network of contacts that helped us prep and stage our home (including changing our carpet to laminate, changing the lightbulbs for better lighting), market our house (for example: videos, targeted marketing on social media, dedicated website, etc.), as well as digging into recent sales and what to price our home.
We did still live nearby so we were able to stop by the home and prep it at the end of the week to make sure lights were on, the air conditioner/fan not running as well as just make sure things were okay. Since it was COVID times, there really isn’t any sort of open house deal anymore and more of a drop by appointment so the place basically is just sitting there in whatever condition whoever just visited left it in. I’m sure if we asked Omar, he would’ve had someone drop by to make sure things were okay, but we were dropping by to pick up mail and let him know we’d drop by weekly so it just worked out and gave us peace of mind.
As you can see I can go on and on about Omar and our experience with him, so feel free to reach out for any specifics, I’m happy to answer but I’m sure Omar can also field those questions as well! We were so happy to find someone to help sell our first home and also especially glad we now have a friend in Omar.
I had another opportunity to work with Omar on the sale of my mother’s house after she passed. The house was stuck in the 1970’s and it was in need of a major remodel. Omar advised my brother and me about which changes to the house would bring the greatest return. Omar managed the project...
We were first time home buyers and it was great having Omar on our side. He was always quick to respond and on time for the appointments. Made the process very smooth and stressless. We spent 3 or 4 weekends and found the perfect home for us. Omar took us to view this home just...
